Seems good, only my latest save which I'd left behind is in the Load Game menu. Having it still off, I'd gone about about deleting and went in-game to check it out.

Thanks for the solution, I'd turned off Steam Cloud Save Syncing for the game on my end AFTER running into this issue before performing your 10 steps, and it seems to have caused Steam to go nuts here on my end. You should now be able to save games normally again (until it stops working again) Launch steam and then launch Deus Ex again.ġ0. Delete the new remotecache.vdf file in the 337000 folder and replace it with your original one from your backup.ĩ. Close the game and exit Steam completelyĨ. Launch steam then launch Deus Ex again, The game should show NO saved games, since you deleted the remotecache.vdf it created a new, mostly blank one (this is what we want for now)ħ. Delete the remotecache.vdf file in the 337000 folder.Ħ. Delete all but your most recent saves from the remote folder (Did I mention you need to back them up? Don't forget!)ĥ. You will need your old remotecache.vdf file from this folder later on so BACK IT UP NOW!)Ĥ.

Backup the whole 337000 folder (This is where your saves are, you don't want to lose them so back it up first. Go to Program Files (maybe x86)\Steam\userdata\some number\337000ģ. Close the game and exit steam completelyĢ. Only real temporary fix I've had work is:ġ.
